Details on results:
In a preliminary test, the water solubility of the test substance was determined to be 0.01 g/L, therefore the column elution method was chosen for the determination of the water solubility of the test substance.

Main study 1: During the test, it proved not possible to obtain a reliable value for water solubility.

Main study 2:
The eluates did not contain undissolved particles. In the chromatograms of samples from the blank column, small peaks were observed at the retention time of the test substance. Contribution to peak areas for samples from columns I-III was <1.5 % and therefore considered negligible.
The mean of the results obtained for Column I (10.8 mg/L), Column II (11.8 mg/L and Column III (13.5 mg/L) was calculated to be 12 mg/L. The maximum deviation between the results is 22 % using not rounded values.
Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, the water solubility based on that of the major constituent is 12 mg/L at 20.4 ± 0.8°C.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the solubility of the test substance according to OECD Guideline 105 and EU Method A.6, by the column elution method. The test substance is a UVCB. Under the study conditions, the water solubility based on that of the major constituent is 12 mg/L at 20.4 ± 0.8°C (Willems, 2003).
