- Results with reference substance (positive control):
- - Results with reference substance valid? yes
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- The EC50 (24 h) of the substance to Daphnia magna was determined to be 0.57 mg/L.
- Executive summary:
The 24–hr-acute toxicity of the test item to Daphnia magna was studied at nominal concentrations of 0.32, 1.0, 3.2, 10, 31.6 and 100 mg/L. Test conditions were similar to the standard test guideline EU Method C.2 (Acute toxicity for Daphnia).
The 24– hour EC50was determined to be 0.57 mg/L.
A classification for aquatic toxicity based on the results of this study is not possible as the test duration is too short (24hr instead of 48hr).

Additional information
The short term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates was determined using the OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia sp. Acute Immobilisation Test).
Based on the results, the classification in Aquatic Acute and Chronic 1 is required by CLP Regulation.
