Boiling Point / Boiling Range (DSC)

Eight measurements in aluminium crucibles with a hole showed broad endothermic signals:

The first measurement showed a broad endothermic effect in the temperature range 60 °C to 280 °C. Additionally there could be an endothermic effect even before the aforementioned one as a broad shoulder can be observed from approximately -80 °C to 60 °C.

The second measurement showed two endothermic effects in the temperature range -10 °C to 110 °C and 120 °C to 230 °C, respectively.

The third measurement showed an endothermic effect in the temperature range 20 °C to 110 °C.

The fourth measurement showed an endothermic effect in the temperature range 70 °C to 300 °C.

The fifth measurement showed an endothermic effect in the temperature range 25 °C to 275 °C.

The sixth measurement showed an endothermic effect in the temperature range 130 °C to 280 °C.

The seventh measurement showed an endothermic effect in the temperature range 20 °C to 170 °C. This effect is directly followed by another small endothermic effect in the temperature range 180 °C to 215 °C.

The eighth measurement showed an endothermic effect in the temperature range 140 °C to 280 °C.

According to the information from the sponsor the test item consists of a large number of different chemical substances. Furthermore due to the different temperature ranges of the endothermic effects it has to be assumed that the test item is heterogeneous.
