Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The ambient temperature range expected during transport, use and/or disposal of ZK 39 211 is much lower than the melting/decomposition temperature. No change of state is expected during such activities nor are there special energy requirements for maintaining ZK 39 211 in the solid state during its transport, use and/or disposal.
Executive summary:

The melting/decomposition temperature was determined using the capillary method.

Melting/decomposition was observed in the temperature range 163.3 to 173.1 °C at a heating rate of 1 K/min.

Benzoic acid was used as reference material. The melting temperature of Benzoic acid is 122.45 °C ( d'Ans Lax, Taschenbuch für Chemiker und Physiker). Average melting temperature of Benzoic acid: 121.6 °C, standard deviation: 0.2 K, 3 determinations.
