Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

To determine explosive properties of the substance, the thermal stability of the test substance has been determined using DSC. The structure of the substance doen't contribute to explosivity.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Explosiveness:
non explosive

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

The determination of the thermal stability of the test substance by DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry) showed no exothermic peaks (range of T: 25 ºC to 500 ºC).

According to the chemical structure and the list of reactive groups that could have explosive properties in Bretherick’s Handbook of Reactive Chemical Hazards, Butterworths, 4th edition, it can be excluded that the substance has explosive properties.
