Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

STP microorganism toxicity data:

EC10 (STP-microorganisms) = 300 mg/L, based on the following data:

Activated sludge respiration inhibition test (OECD 209, 1984; GLP):

EC20 (OECD 209; 30 min) ca. 600 mg/L;

EC50 (OECD 209; 30 min) > 1000 mg/L (27 % inhibition observed relative to control).

With regard to long-term microorganism toxicity, these data are supported by available biodegradation screening tests, where no microorganism toxicity was observed up to 656 mg/L test item (fast

and thorough mineralisation).
