Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
According to OECD Test Guideline 115 and Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 Part A Method A.5. the surface tension at 20 °C and at a concentration of 1 g/L of test item 4-NPP, di-TRIS (CAS no. 68189-42-4) in water was determined to be 72.1 mN/m. According to regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 Part A Method A.5 substances showing a surface tension lower than 60 mN/m under the conditions of method A.5 should be regarded as being surface active materials.
Thus, the test item is not regarded as surface active material.
Executive summary:

According to OECD Test Guideline 115 and Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 Part A Method A.5. the surface tension at 20 °C and at a concentration of 1 g/L of test item 4-NPP, di-TRIS (CAS no. 68189-42-4) in water was determined to be 72.1 mN/m. According to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Part A Method A.5. the test item is not to be regarded as surface active material.
