Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

It can be seen from the data that some particles above 3.5 mm were not measured due to the range of the instrument. This was not considered significant due to the fact that the majority of the test item was accounted for.

Conclusions:
Methomyl TGAI was determined to have d(0.1), d(0.5) and d(0.9) values of 470, 940 and 1990 μm, respectively.
Executive summary:

The study was conducted in accordance with guidelines to meet the requirements of Commission Regulation (EU) No 283/2013 of 01 March 2013 implementing Regulation No 1107/2009; and the US Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP), Series 830: Product Properties Test Guidelines.

The particle size distribution was assessed using a technique based on laser diffraction in accordance with CIPAC MT 187.

Methomyl TGAI was determined to have d(0.1), d(0.5) and d(0.9) values of 470, 940 and 1990 μm, respectively.

d(0.1) is the diameter where 90% of the distribution is above and 10% is below.

d(0.5) is the diameter where 50% of the distribution is above and 50% is below. The is referred to as the Mass Median Diameter (MMD).

d(0.9) is the diameter where 10% of the distribution is above and 90% is below.
