Additional information

If the substance is released to the aquatic compartment it will be potentially persistent since no biodegradation was recorded in the biodegradation screening study. However the substance is expected to evaporate quickly from the water phase based on its vapour pressure of 4640 Pa. Further, QSAR calculations revealed a half-life of 19.26 h indicating that the substance will be degraded by the reaction with OH-radicals. A long-range transport via the atmosphere is not expected. The potential of the substance for adsorption to sediment and soil particles is expected to be low based on an experimental log Koc of 2.65. Thus, the main compartment for environmental distribution is expected to be the atmospheric compartment if released to the environment.
