Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No published data could be found on the toxicokinetics of the test substance. However, as per REACH guidance document R7. C (November 2014), information on absorption, distribution, metabolisation and excretion may be deduced from the physico-chemical properties, including:

-       Water solubility

-       Partition coefficient

-       Vapour pressure

-       Molecular weight

The substance has a molecular weight lower than 500 (377.35), which would favour oral uptake. However, it contains ionisable groups, has low water solubility (<0.04 mg/L at 20°C) and a log Kow of 5.2. These properties are likely to limit absorption. On this basis, a factor of 50% absorption will be used for DNEL derivation.

For the same reasons as above, dermal absorption is unlikely to be high and a factor of 50% was selected for DNEL derivation.

As a worst-case assumption and in the absence of data, an inhalation uptake of 100% was considered.
