Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The partition equilibrium between n-octanol and aqueous buffer solutions (pH = 7) was determined by a modified flask shaking method in accordance with OECD Testing Guideline No. 107. Measurements on three aqueous solutions with different concentrations of ZK 39 211 and HPLC analysis of the concentration in the organic phase after equilibration gave a partition coefficient with 95 % confidence interval:

log Pow = - 3.72 +/- 0.03
