According to the environmental fate assessment, GALDEN LMW is expected to mainly distribute into the atmosphere. Depositing from the atmosphere to the soil is considered to be negligible. Moreover, basing on the substance toxicological and ecotoxicological profile, GALDEN LMW is not expected to be of concern for toxicity to terrestial organisms.
Therefore, in accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, testing on terrestrial organisms is considered to be scientifically unjustified and it is not proposed by the registrant.
