The registration substance is toxic to microorganims of an activated sludge. Therefore a test on ready biodegradability (OECD 301B CO2 Evolution test) could not be carried out (Silke Fiebig, Laboratory Noack, Naphthenic acids, reaction products with diethylenetriamine, Feasibility investigations, Ready biodegradability, Modified Sturm Test OECD 301B, Project No. 120327CB, Report number AST14510N). As the registration substance is a UVCB specific analysis is not an option in any simulation test on biodegradation. This means simulation tests with specific analysis are not feasible.
