Conclusion on classification

Based on the reliable and valid studies on the acute aquatic toxicity, the substance is to be classified for environmental hazards under Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008. With regards to short-term aquatic hazards, classification into Acute Cat. 1 is applicable. Adequate data on the long-term aquatic toxicity of the substance are lacking. Therefore, the available data on acute aquatic toxicity are used for classification, in combination with the finding that the substance was not readily biodegradable in the screening degradability study. With regards to long-term aquatic hazards, classification into Chronic Cat. 1 is applicable. The appropriate M-factor for acute and chronic aquatic toxicity is 10.
