Additional information

Hydrolysis of tert-dodecanethiol was studied at pH 4, 7 and 9, using the OECD TG 111. A significant reduction of substance concentration was observed at all pH. As the structure of the molecule does not account for an hydrolytical reaction, it is likely that the measured decay of solution concentrations is due to other phenomena such as adsorption or volatilisation, evenmore as the tested concentrations were above the water solubility limit.
