Transformation/ dissolution: Chromium containing compounds release very low concentrations; 0.005 µg/L after 7 days and approximately 0.01 µg/L after 28 days ie. less than 0.025 µg/L after 7 days and approximately 0.005 µg/L after 28 days when normalised to a 1L solution (test volume without any solution evaporation).
Water solubility: Solubility in water was found to be 3.13 µg/L (pH6) and 2.96 µg/L (pH8). No transformation to chromium (VI) was observed under the conditions of this study.
