Available date are not appropriate for a final justification for classification. Based on that and in view of negative genotoxicity findings classification related to carcinogenicity is not warrantable.

The increased incidences of hepatoma and lung adenoma in male mice of strain X B6C3F1 after 18 months of oral treatment with the test substance were considered to be of preliminary nature, because of a very limited number of animals and only one dose level tested in the present study. In addition, the cited review article did not provide any information on the purity of the substance tested or possible impurities therein.
