Description of key information
The study was performed according to the principles of the OECD-Guideline for Testing of Chemicals No. 203 (1992; latest draft from June 18th, 2019) and EU Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008/ Method C.1 (2008). All validity criteria were met.
The 96 hours acute toxicity test of the test item Reaction amss of 2 -methylbutyl acetate and pentyl acetate to zebrafish (Danio rerio) revealed a statistically significant effect on fish survival / mortality from test start (0h) until the end of exposure (96h) in the highest two test item concentrations in comparison to the control. Geometric mean measured test item concentrations were (in mg/L): 0 (Control); 3.18; 6.13; 14.4; 28.8; 49.2.
The LC50 for mortality after 96 hours was 10.2 mg/L, based on measured test item concentrations.

A statistically significant effect on fish survival / mortality, was observed in a acute toxicity test with Zebrafish (Danio rerio) after 96 hours. The effect concentration (LC50) after 96 hours was at 10.2 mg/L geometric mean measuerd test item concentration.
The results in this study are consistent with all validity criteria and the test is valid according to the guidelines of this study. All water quality and environmental parameters monitored were within the required ranges. No deviations from test guidelines or other incidents occurred during the course of the reported test which may have influenced the results.
