Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Early life stage test with vehicle (OECD 210):

The overall NOEC of Benzenepropanoic acid, 3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxy-,C7-9-branched alkyl ester or early life stages of zebra fish was determined to be the highest test concentration of nominal 1.0 µg/L since up to and including this test concentration no toxic effect was observed on the eggs, larvae or fish. The overall LOEC was determined to be > 1.0 µg/L nominal. This value could not be quantified due to the absence of toxicity of Benzenepropanoic acid, 3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxy-,C7-9-branched alkyl esters up to the highest test concentration.

In conclusion, Benzenepropanoic acid, 3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxy-,C7-9-branched alkyl esters had no adverse effects on the early life stages of zebra fish up to the water solubility limit.
