Parameter followed for biodegradation estimation
Parameter followed for biodegradation estimation:
O2 consumption
Details on study design:
Duplication bottles for control, test and reference material were prepared using a sewage sludge inoculum and were sampled for dissolved oxygene concentration on days 0, 5, 7, 10, 14, 21, and 28 to determine oxygene depletion. This was then related to ThOD and concentration of test item or reference material and expressed as per cent bidegradation.
