Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The endpoint is waived, existing reported/calculated data cannot be verified as accurate, and as the substance is an onsite isolated intermediate, no testing is necessary.
The vapour pressure of citraconic anhydride is reported as 133 Pa at 47.1 °C and calculated as ca. 24 Pa @ 25 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Three data from handbooks, two of them orginating from the same reference: Stull, Ind. Eng. Chem.,39,517(1947), the third one probably too, because exactly the same temperature ( 47.1 °C) and pressure(1 mmHg = 133 Pa) is mentioned.

Calculated vapour pressure is ca. 24 Pa @ 20 oC (ACD and EpiSuite).
