Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Bioaccumulation: aquatic/sediment:

The bioaccumulation study in fish was conducted for estimating the BCF (bioaccumulation factor) value of test chemical. The bioaccumulation factor (BCF) value was calculatedusing a log Kow of 1.9 and a regression derived equation. The estimated BCF (bioaccumulation factor) value of test chemical in fish was determined to be 8.0 dimensionless, which does not exceed the bioconcentration threshold of 2000, indicating that the test chemical was considered to be non-bioaccumulative in aquatic organisms.

In addition to this, bioaccumulation endpoint can also be considered for waiver as per in accordance with column 2 of Annex IX of the REACH regulation, testing for this endpoint is scientifically not necessary and does not need to be conducted since the test chemical has a low potential for bioaccumulation based on logKow ≤ 3.
