Description of key information
Two experimental studies for the determination of the flash point were conducted with two different batches of the substance.
Batch I23-090312 : flash point = 47°C
Batch 129958 : flash point = 44°C

Experimental studies were performed on two different batches of the substance in order to determine the flash point according to the method A.9 and ASTM D 3828 Standard Test Methods for flash point by a Small Scale Closed Cup. The flash point was determined with a closed cup tester, by an equilibrium method "Small Scale", where the vapours are deemed to be in temperature equilibrium with the liquid.
The flash point values for batch I23-090312 and batch 129958 were determined to be respectively 47°C and 44°C.
The lowest value (worst case) was retained as key value for the chemical safety assessment.
