Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

The melting point can be calculated from the onset or the peak maximum, whereby impure samples are characterised by their peak maximum. As can be seen in the DSC curves, the test item shows two peaks. The first peak indicates an impurity and the second peak the melting point of the main component of the test item. The peak maxima of the analysed sample are given in the following table and are approx. -30 °C for the first peak and approx. -23 °C for the second peak (mean values of three iterations).

Solidification occurs at approx. -39 °C.
