Reference
Endpoint:
water solubility
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
September 30, 2015
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
flask method
Water solubility:
< 0.02 g/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
ca. 6.7
Remarks on result:
other: mother solution pH = 6.3, satured solution = 6.7
Details on results:
Considering that the product was not completely soluble in reference solution, and that the absorbance of the test solutions were below the sensibility limit of the instrument in visible region, just an approximate solubility value was determined.
Conclusions:
Insoluble
The water solubility of the test substance is << 0.02 g/l at 20 °C
Executive summary:

Method

Solubility was performed following the recommendations of the OECD method 105.

Result

The water solubility of test item is below the detection limit of 0.02 g/l at ph 6.70, therefore the water solubility of the test substance is << 0.02 g/l at 20 °C and it is considered as Insoluble

Description of key information

Solubility in water < 0.02 g/l

Key value for chemical safety assessment
