Description of key information

The dissociation constants for N-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-N'-phenylbenzene-1,4-diamine are estimated yielding a pKa1 of 6.7 (Atom number: 1, aminogroup linked to aryl and alkyl groups) anda pKa2 of 0.7 (Atom number: 6, amino group linked to 2 aryl groups).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

pKa at 20°C:
6.7

Additional information

The dissociation constants of N-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-N'-phenylbenzene-1,4-diamine were estimated by ACD/pKa DB included in ACD/Percepta 14.0.0 (Build 2254). The result indicates that both, mono-protonated and non-protonated forms of the molecule are present at environmental relevant conditions.
