Description of key information

Whole body exposure for 6 hours per day, 5 days per week for a period of 4 weeks to DCM at a concentration of 5187 ppm produced no signs of immunotoxic potential, following assessment of the IgM antibody response to sheep red blood cells combined with assessment of lymphoid organ weights, histopathology and relevant haematological parameter (The Dow Chemical Company, 2000). The second summary mentioned that 5000 ppm resulted in a significant reduction in relative, but not absolute, spleen weight in female rats (Warbrick et al., 2003).
