Hydrolysis experiments: A 100ml Erlenmeyer flask was used as the reactor. The initial concentration of the compounds was 10 EE-3 mol/l. The temperature (25 °C and 55°C respectively) was regulated during the whole reaction by a heating plate. The pH was adjusted to 3, 7, and 11 with buffers. Hydrolysis samples were filtered through a short 1 cm silica gel column (60 - 100 mesh) and injected directly without further purification into a Dani gas chromatograph model 4107.
