Description of key information
The chromatogram of propylidynetrimethyl trimethacrylate resulted in a major peak (> 90% of the area) with log Kow value of 4.19 and a minor peak with log Kow value of 2.75 at 25°C ± 1.

A GLP study was conducted to determine the partition coefficient of propylidynetrimethyl trimethacrylate according to OECD Guideline 117, HPLC method. The chromatogram of propylidynetrimethyl trimethacrylate resulted in two peaks with log Kow values of 2.749 ± 0.002 (peak 1: 0.3666 mAU*min) and 4.193 ± 0.004 (peak 2: 9.8804 mAU*min) at 25 ± 1 ºC. As this last peak covered more than 90% of the area under the curve, its log Kow value (4.19) was used for chemical safety assessment (CSA).
