Based on their structural similarity (main components C12 and C14 derivatives) and similar physico-chemical and (eco)toxicological properties, the following substances are considered analogues: amphoacetates C8-C18, amphoacetates C12-C14 (this registered substance) and amphoacetates C12. The rationale to read across data is attached in Section 13.

As with this registered substance (amphoaceates C12) no eco-toxicological study has been performed, the worst case acute eco-toxicity results have been read-across to this substance. As a result of this read-across, the PNECs for this substance are the same as the PNECs derived for the source chemical amphoacetates C12.

Conclusion on classification
