The oxidising properties of Hydroxyambran were determined according to the EC Test Guideline A.17.

Although the burning rate of the test substance is higher than those of the reference substance, the test substance can be classified as non-oxidising, because it was not possible to ignite the mixture in an atmosphere of nitrogen.

The measured burning rate causes to a false positive result.
