The test item was measured as delivered. The melting peak was found after the loss of water in the 1st heating. The test item has a melting temperature at 186°C (Peak Temperature) in the 1st heating. In the 2nd heating the melting peak shifted to lower temperatures.

Observed thermic processes:

The test item shows a broad endothermic peak between about 50°C and 130°C.This shows the vaporization of water.

An exothermic peak at about 90°C peak-temperature in the cooling step shows the recrystallization of the test item.

In order to survey the thermic behaviour of the test item a preliminary TGA-Test was run up to 700°C. An endothermic peak starting at about 300°C with the weight loss up to 100% shows the vaporization/decomposition of the test item.
