Description of key information

Based on the key biodegradation study, the substance is considered as being Readily biodegradable.


At 15 mg C/L test concentration, the test item undergoes 83% of biodegradation after 28 days in the test conditions. The 10-day window requirement for ready biodegradability is fulfilled with 73% of biodegradation.


The substance did not inhibit the intrinsic respiration of the inoculum at the test concentration and was therefore considered to be non-toxic to the inoculum up to 15 mg C/L.
