Conclusions:
The Auto-Ignition temperature of the test item was 550°C ± 3°C and 439°C ± 3°C for the test item quantity representing 100µL and 50µL respectively. However with double the quantity, 200µL of the test item, the test item produces yellow fumes and the auto ignition point was found to be greater than 600°C. The result summarized as 550°C ± 3°C as auto ignition temperature for the test item volume of 100µL.
Executive summary:

The preliminary investigation of auto ignition temperature was carried out with initial temperature of 200°C. The interval of temperature used for further investigation was 50°C. The rise in temperature was maintained at constant rate of 25°C/minute for every interval of test item introduction. The test item of around 100 µL, 50 µL and 200 µL was cautiously introduced and checked for luminescence of blue color and further, auto ignition temperature where flame spontaneously occur without the external source of flame or spark.

The test item of 100 µL upon introduction flared with a yellowish orange color flame on attaining temperature of 550°C. The time lag between the test item introduction and auto ignition was 5 seconds. The test item concentration of 50 µL, while introduced bluish orange flame occurred with immediate change over to yellowish orange color flame at 439°C within a time lag of 47 seconds. The test item concentration of 200µl when introduced, it did not flare with pale blue luminescence or hot flame at 600°C rather thick yellow color intense fumes appeared. The test item upon introduction a sharp increase in temperature of 56°C and greater than 50°C within a period of 30 seconds for the concentration of test item 50µl and 100µl respectively was observed.

The second experimentation phase was conducted at a constant temperature of 580°C, temperature 30°C greater than the preliminary phase of experimentation. The test item flared up with yellowish orange color flame within time duration of 1 second upon introduction of the test item, while for 50 µL of test item quantity bluish orange flame occurred with immediate change over to yellowish orange flame within 1 second for temperature maintained at 469°C.

The third experimentation phase was conducted at a constant temperature of 520°C, temperature 30°C lesser than the preliminary phase of experimentation, the test item flared up with yellowish orange color flame within time duration of 30 seconds upon introduction of the test item 100µL. The test item did not flare up with any flame rather produced slowly yellow color fumes for the quantity of test item 50µL of test item introduced.

The fourth experimentation phase was conducted at a constant temperature of 3°C lesser and greater than the temperature of 550°C. The test item flared up with yellowish orange flame upon introduction of test item at both the temperatures within 2 seconds. The results observed for the test item quantity of 50 µL temperature 3°C lesser and greater than the temperatures of 439°C was appearance bluish orange flame with immediate change over to yellowish orange color flame upon introduction of test item within 5 second.

The auto ignition temperature of the test item is 550°C ± 3°C at 1013 hPa atmospheric pressure.
