A guideline key study is available, where the melting point/freezing point is found to be -13 to -15 degrees C.

Two additional supporting studies are available. Both of these sources report -12 degrees C. The results are all in good agreement with each other and the key study.

The mean value is -13 degrees C, which is in agreement with the key study. This is therefore taken to be the melting point/freezing point of 2-chloropropionic acid.
