Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No toxicity was observed in short-term toxicity tests in fish, Daphnia and algae. Therefore, PNECs have not been derived for water, sediment or soil.

A PNEC oral (secondary poisoning) has been derived as a worst-case assessment, as the logPow > 6.5 of the substance indicates a potential for bioaccumulation in aquatic species.

However, a predicted aquatic BCF value of 311 L/kg was obtained for the substance (from EPISUITE program BCFBAF v3.01), pointing to a low bioaccumulation potential.

Conclusion on classification

The substance is classified for the environment under the 'safety net' classification 'Chronic Category 4, H413: May cause long lasting harmful effects to aqautic life'.

No toxicity was observed in acute toxicity studies in fish, daphnia and algae.

The above classification may be applied as a worst-case based on the substance having a water solubility <1 mg/L, being biodegradable, but not being readily biodegradable and having a logPow > 4.
