Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The Auto-ignition temperature of Homofarnesol (3E, 7E) was determined in a SUR BERLIN oven, equipped with a 250ml glass ignition vessel according to the DIN 51794.

The lowest temperature giving a positive effect was 259oC. The injected volume was 100ul, the ignition delay was 41s. At a temperature of 254oC no igniton was observed.

Therefore, after rounding-off to the next-lower multiple of 5oC:

Auto-ignition temperature of Homofarnesol (3E, 7E): 255 +/- 5oC.
