Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, the surface tension of an aqueous substance solution at 90% of its saturation solubility was determined to be 32.9 mN/m (at 20°C). According to the EU Mrthod A.5 the substance is surface active.

Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the surface tension of the test substance using ring method according to OECD Guideline 115, EU Method A.5. Under the study conditions, the surface tension of an aqueous substance solution at 90% of its saturation solubility was determined to be 32.9 mN/m (at 20°C). According to the EU Mrthod A.5 the substance is surface active (Reingruber, 2017).

Description of key information

The surface tension was determined according to OECD Guideline 115 and EU Method A.5 (Reingruber, 2017).
