Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

- Conclusions:
- The test item is not a flammable solid.
- Executive summary:
The flammability of the test item was determined according to the German guideline VDI 2263, sheet 1, which is similar to European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.10.
The test substance was subject to a stepwise testing procedure:
1) Tested as delivered at room temperature.
2) Test of dried substance at room temperature.
3) Tested at heightened product temperature (100 °C) in a drying cabinet with sufficient air supply.
In all three tests the test substance was applied to a ceramic plate as a ca. 2 cm wide and 4 cm long bulk. For the ignition a micro burner with temperatures above 1000 °C was used. The reaction behaviour of the test substance was judged visually after removal of the burner.
For all three tests a burning index of 3 was determined.
The test item is not a highly flammable solid in the sense of the German guideline VDI 2263, sheet 1, as well as in the sense of the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.10.
The test item is not a flammable solid according to section 2.7.4.2 in the ECHA Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria (Guidance to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging (CLP) of substances and mixtures, Version 4.1, June 2015).

Description of key information
The flammability of the test item was determined according to the German guideline VDI 2263, sheet 1, which is similar to European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.10.
Based on these results, the test item is considered to be not highly flammable.
This information is used in a read-across approach in the assessment of the target substance.
For justification of read-across please refer to the attached read-across report (see IUCLID section 13).
