Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The soil adsorption coefficient of the registered substance was determined according to the OECD 121 Guideline. The Log Koc of the reaction mass was found to be <be less than 17.8, log10Koc < 1.25 at pH 7.0.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Koc at 20 °C:
17.8

Additional information

The anionic, 6-[(p-tosyl)amino] hexanoic acid component has shown to have relatively high mobility in soil. The adsorption coefficient (Koc) of the anionic, 6-[(p-tosyl)amino] hexanoic acid component of the test item has been determined to be less than 17.8, log10Koc< 1.25 at pH 7.0 at 30 °C. Although Koc will be temperature-dependent, it is assumed that the variation with Temperature will be minimal and therefore, Koc at 30 °C will be similar to Koc at 20 °C.
