Toxicity to terrestrial plants

The minimum EC25 value calculated during a study with diflufenzopyr sodium salt was 0.00027 lb A.E./A for turnip shoot weight during the vegetative vigor phase. The lowest NOEC was determined during vegetative vigor phase was determined to be 0.00060 lb A.E./A (tomato, turnip, root weight, shoot length, shoot weight and root weight).

Toxicity to birds

Key (acute):

The dietary LC50 value for northern bobwhite exposed to the test substance (diflufenzopyr) Technical was determined to be greater than 5620 ppm a.i., the highest concentration tested. The no mortality and no observed effect concentration was 5620 ppm a.i., the highest concentration tested.

Key (reproduction):

The no-observed-effect concentration for northern bobwhite exposed to the test substance (diflufenzopyr) in the diet during this study was 1000 ppm a.i., the highest concentration tested.
