As the partition coefficient n-octanol/water was preliminary estimated to be very high (logP >8) which leads to the conclusion that it is not sensible to carry out the measurement by the HPLC method. The log Pow shall be calculated instead.
The calculation was using KOWWIN module of software EPI Suite as recommended in Guideline.
The substance is not completely within the applicability domain of the model. Both fragments (-CH3 and -tert carbon) are outside the training set but fall into validation set.
