- Category justification for dimethylalkyl amines is based upon the following:

The dimethylalkyl amines (DAM) molecular weight increases over the category from 312 g/mol for DAMC10 to 480-536 g/mol for DAM C16-18. They are chemically stable, and they are not oxidising or explosive. - Category description:
