Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Remarks:
Criteria: In the control not more than 10% of the daphnids should have been immobilised. The dissolved oxygen concentration at the end of the test should be > or equal 3 mg/l in control and test vessels.
Conclusions:
EC50,48h calculated: 15.7 mg/l
NOEC48h: 10 mg/l
EC0,48h: 10.0 mg/l
EC100,48h: 32.0 mg/l
Executive summary:

Purpose of this study was to determine the acute toxicity (EC50 (48h)) of CA 1139 A on Daphnia (Daphnia magna Straus 1820).

The test was conducted according the OECD guideline 202.

20 Daphnia were used per concentration and control. 4 replicates were conducted of 5 daphnia each.

The duration of the test was 48h. Nominal test concentrations were: 5.8, 10, 18, 32, 58 and 100 mg test substance/l.

Calculated results were as follow (values are based on nominal concentrations):

EC50,48h calculated: 15.7 mg/l

NOEC48h: 10 mg/l

EC0,48h: 10.0 mg/l

EC100,48h: 32.0 mg/l
