Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Physico-chemical properties were mostly determined from experimental testing, except Vapour Pressure and Water Solubility that were calculated from QSAR.  Also the Octanol-water partition coefficient was calculated from QSAR and used to support the result of an experimental test. Some endpoints were waived, based on chemical structure of the substance or on experience in handling and use of the substance

The substance is a colourless translucent liquid, visually lowly viscous at ambient temperature. It is moderately soluble in water with no expected surface active property and low volatility. It is slightly less dense than water.

The substance is NOT classified as flammable liquid based on both Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP regulation) and GHS. No other hazard was identified with regard to physical properties (flammability, explosivity, oxidising properties) based on Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 (CLP regulation).
