During the cooling phase, an exothermal effect at the temperature of approx. -30 °C was observed, which can be assigned to the freezing of the test item.

During the heating phase a distinct endothermic effect was observed in the temperature range of -60 to -20 °C, which can be assigned to the melting of the test item.

The test item showed a second endothermic signal in the temperature range of approx.280 – 410 °C. No further thermal effects were observed up to the maximum test temperature of 500 °C.

Conclusions:
The determination of the melting point of the test item was performed according to OECD 102 and EU A1 guidelines, by Differential Scanning Calorimetry.
The test item showed a melting range, no melting point. As the test item is an UVCB substance this is considered as normal.
A melting range of -60°C to -20°C was found at 1025 hPa.
