Additional information

The acute toxicity of DV6850 to rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) was assessed under semi-static exposure conditions in a valid GLP study. The study was conducted in accordance with EC Method C.1 and the OECD Guideline No. 203.

The fish were exposed to the substance for 96 hours at mean measured levels of 0.303, 0.478, 1.35, 3.00 and 7.23 mg/L. The highest measured concentration at which no mortality had occurred was 0.303 mg/L and the lowest at which there was 100% mortality was 1.35 mg/L. Treatment-related effects were exhibited at 0.478 mg/L and higher concentrations. Based on these findings the following values have been estimated:

96-hour LC50 value: 0.406 mg/L (95% confidence limits of 0.303 and 1.35 mg/L)

NOEC: 0.303 mg/L
