Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Since experimental data are taken from the supporting substances diallyl 2,2´-oxydiethyl dicarbonate (EC 205-528-7) and Reaction mass of bis[2-(2-{[(prop-2-en-1-yloxy)carbonyl]oxy}ethoxy)ethyl] carbonate and diallyl 2,2'-oxydiethyl dicarbonate (EC 700-483-4), also the PNEC derivation is based on these results. About 53 % of Reaction mass of 2,2'-oxydiethanol and 2,2-dimethylpropane-1,3-diol and diallyl 2,2'-oxydiethyl dicarbonate and diallyl carbonate and pentaerythritol' (EC 700-742-1) consists of components that can be found in Reaction mass of bis[2-(2-{[(prop-2-en-1-yloxy)carbonyl]oxy}ethoxy)ethyl] carbonate and diallyl 2,2'-oxydiethyl dicarbonate (EC 700-483-4). About 60 % of Reaction mass of bis[2-(2-{[(prop-2-en-1-yloxy)carbonyl]oxy}ethoxy)ethyl] carbonate and diallyl 2,2'-oxydiethyl dicarbonate (EC 700-483-4) in turn consists of components that can be found in the commercial ADC grades known as diallyl 2,2´-oxydiehtyl dicarbonate, Nouryset 200 and CR39. Merely from comparing the similar production processes of these substances it is apparent that all three compounds are closely related to each other. Finally, it can be assumed that the physical-chemical, environmental toxicological and ecotoxicological properties of the read-across approaches will be very similar and as conclusion, the read-across is justified.
