Additional information

The substance is basically insoluble in water (2 mg/L). A valid ready biodegradation study showed that the Water Accommodated Fraction WAF is readily biodegradable. The log Koc of the substance is 3.91, indicating that the substance is strongly adsorbing to sediments, soils and other organic matters. Due to these properties of the substance, 94% of the substance is estimated to be removed by waste water treatment. Hence it is unlikely, that the substance will reach surface waters, sediments and soil, which removes any concern of bioaccumulation. In the unlikely case, that the substance reaches surface waters, sediments and soils, bioaccumulation is not likely, since its log BCF is 2.58 (BCF 376).
