A study was performed to determine particle size distribution of HP-10. The method followed was OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals, Method 110.

 

The particle size distribution was initially examined using sieve analysis. As greater than 10% by weight of the test substance was found to pass a 75 micron sieve, it was further examined by image analysis.

 

The results indicate that 0.2% by mass of HP-10 is smaller than 10μm.
